Lapinlahti Special Arboretum – Nature Trail & Campfire Spot
Welcome to a peaceful nature spot on the edge of the town. In the Special Arboretum you can discover a variety of unusual tree species and enjoy a relaxing campfire moment at the shelter. A great destination for families with children!
The arboretum was established in the 1930s by planting and cultivating foreign tree species in the area. Visitors can use a campfire shelter, an outdoor toilet and a woodshed. A winding trail of just under one kilometre leads through the forest, with information signs presenting around twenty different tree species.
The forest is like a small oasis, home to many birds, squirrels and a rich variety of ground plants and undergrowth.
